01About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of this website and to any enquiry, booking or tattoo session with Inkwell Collective Tattoo ("Inkwell Collective", "we", "us"), a private tattoo studio at 101 Joo Chiat Rd, Level 4, Singapore 427395.
By sending us an enquiry, booking an appointment or getting tattooed at the studio, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
02Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to get tattooed at Inkwell Collective. We will ask to see a valid government-issued photo ID (such as an NRIC, passport or driving licence) on the day of your appointment.
We will not tattoo anyone under 18, even with parental consent. If you cannot show valid ID, your appointment will not go ahead and your deposit will be forfeited.
03Enquiries and bookings
All tattoos are by appointment only. Sending an enquiry through our website, WhatsApp, email or Instagram does not guarantee a booking.
After reviewing your enquiry, your artist will send you a quote and available dates. Your appointment is only confirmed once your deposit has been received.
04Deposits and payment
A deposit is required to secure every appointment. The deposit amount will be confirmed with your quote.
Deposits are non-refundable. They are deducted from the final price of your tattoo, or from your last session for multi-session pieces.
Quotes are estimates based on the size, placement and detail discussed. The final price may change if the design, size or placement changes on the day. The balance is payable at the end of each session.
05Rescheduling and cancellations
If you need to reschedule, please give us at least 48 hours' notice. Your deposit can then be moved to a new date once.
If you cancel, reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, or do not show up, your deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to rebook.
If you are more than 30 minutes late without letting us know, we may treat the appointment as a no-show.
In the rare case that we need to reschedule, we will contact you as early as possible and your deposit will be carried over in full.
06Health, safety and consent
Before your session you will be asked to complete a consent form and tell us about any medical conditions, allergies, medication, pregnancy or skin conditions that may affect your tattoo or healing.
We may postpone or refuse a session if we believe it is unsafe to go ahead, including if you appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, are unwell, or have broken or irritated skin in the area to be tattooed.
We use single-use needles and follow strict hygiene and sterilisation practices for every session.
07Designs and artwork
All custom designs are drawn by our artists and remain their intellectual property. Designs will not be sent out as files before your appointment, and may not be reproduced or taken to another artist.
Reference images you send are used only for inspiration. We do not copy another artist's work.
Your artist has the final say on what they are willing to tattoo, and may decline designs they are not comfortable with.
08Aftercare and touch-ups
You will receive aftercare instructions after your session. How your tattoo heals depends largely on following these instructions, and we are not responsible for problems caused by improper aftercare.
If a touch-up is needed because of normal healing, we offer one free touch-up within 3 months of your session, provided aftercare instructions were followed. Touch-ups for hands, fingers, feet and similar high-wear areas may be charged.
09Photos of your tattoo
We may photograph your finished tattoo and share it on our website and social media to showcase the artist's work. Your face will not be shown without your permission.
If you would prefer that your tattoo is not photographed or shared, just tell your artist before or during your session.
10Using this website
The content on this website, including photos, artwork and text, belongs to Inkwell Collective and its artists and may not be copied or used without permission.
We try to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but prices, availability and details may change without notice.
This website may link to other websites, such as Instagram, WhatsApp and Google Maps. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
11Limitation of liability
Getting a tattoo carries some natural risks, including allergic reaction, infection and variation in how skin heals. By getting tattooed you accept these risks.
To the extent permitted by law, Inkwell Collective is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from our services or your use of this website. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under Singapore law that cannot be excluded.
12Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
